Nice to Meet you

Hello! I’m Mylan (“Mi-Lahn”|she/her). I am a proud Asian- American of Vietnamese and Filipino descent. I have been a Physical Therapist in the greater Seattle area for over a decade and a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist since 2017. I have specialized training in orthopedics, manual therapy, sports and performance art medicine, strength training, pregnancy and postpartum exercise, and pelvic health.

I believe everyone has a right to bodily autonomy and to move through life the way they want to live.

I envision a world where all have access to quality, holistic, inclusive, trauma-informed, individualized care.‍ ‍Where all body types are celebrated, where culture and free meaningful movement is centered and fully experienced in the form of art, music, dance, and sport.

I recognize that being healthy and movement means something different for everyone and our wellness can be greatly impacted by the amount of medical access and resources we have.

My mission is to support and guide others to move their best through this world, in a way that feels most genuine to them.

-Mylan Vu, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, CAFS, PCES

I am passionate about providing quality healthcare to all

including BIPOC And LGBTQIA+ individuals and their communities. ‍ ‍

I Like To Move

I’m a lifelong mover and learner- playing volleyball, soccer, running track, ice-skating, martial arts, dance, stage performance, and playing musical instruments. Being an athlete, a performer, a musician, a mother, a caregiver and a healthcare provider has deepened my appreciation of how incredibly resilient and adaptable our bodies are.  I intimately understand what it's like when your body doesn’t feel connected, the mental and physical challenges during the healing process, and the incredible sense of joy that transpires when you return to the thing you love.  The joy of feeling like you.

All people deserve to be uniquely themselves. Movement is just one way I can help others embrace their freedom of expression.

  • because of how Mylan Vu (specifically, her being her!) works within the world of physical therapy, I now appreciate the sage insight, range and possibility of physical therapy's art and science. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is the perfect choice for sophisticated assessment, creative practice, and profound new understanding and appreciation of the body and how the body supports all aspects of health and movement."
